My Experience:

I was recently searching for a new car seat cover and I came across a lot of sites that sold them, however I was struggling to find a design that I loved as well as a price that fit in my budget. A car seat cover was something I wanted, and not necessarily something I needed so I wasn’t willing to spend a lot of money just to have something cute and stylish.

With our first baby (A little boy) I thought I was purchasing a gender-neutral car seat when I bought a Black and Red car seat. However, when I found out I was having a little girl something inside of me decided I needed everything in Pink! And so began my search for something cute and girly that I could afford.

I came across the HipNCozy.com site after doing a lot of searching online. I loved that I could create a custom design and that the products were made to fit my specific car seat. I also loved the price! HipNCozy car seats are about half the price of the car seat covers you will find in a baby boutique so I was instantly hooked. The only problem I had was deciding which fabrics to use.

I ended up choosing the Black Swirl with the Light Pink Minky in the center and I couldn’t be happier. I have gotten so many complements on this cover and I love that my little girl has a car seat all her own and I didn’t have to purchase a new seat!

The Down Side:

Choosing a Fabric and Design is definitely the hard part! I also have found that there isn’t a cut out to secure the car seat with a seat belt and shoulder belt. The cover goes over the notches on my car seat so I wouldn’t be able to use the seat belt to secure the car seat. However, since my car has the latch system and base this isn’t really a problem for me it might just be something to keep in mind if you plan on moving your car seat from car to car a lot.
